The Shining Stars School is Park City's only cooperative preschool, a model that both allows and encourages the whole family's involvement in a child's early education. Through a blend of play-based activities and hands-on learning, we empower children to explore, learn, and grow.

Highly Qualified Staff
Our 4 head teachers are fully credentialed, and all staff members are background checked, fingerprinted, receive 10 hours of mandatory state training before their start date, complete 10 hours of CTE each year of employment and are CPR and First Aid Certified.
Fully Licensed
We are not a backyard daycare program. We maintain our State and County Business Licenses as well as our Utah State Child Care License through regular classroom/playground inspections (both announced and unannounced) as well as mandatory annual fire inspections.
Utah Core Curriculum
While we believe preschool learning should be rooted in play, we are proud to provide our students exposure to subjects based on the Utah Core Curriculum standards. Every individual child may show more or less interest in each topic, with the real goal being to establish familiarity with a subject.
